Small Arts Initiative
This year, The Heinz Endowments is moving the Small Arts Initiative’s application online! No longer will you have to have your proposal Downtown by 5 p.m. Instead, you can now submit your application from the comfort of your home and have it in by midnight. Our strict rules on meeting the deadline will still apply, and the online application will be closed down once the deadline is passed, so please get it in on time.
As the application process is new, we are going to hold information sessions for both the spring and fall rounds at the Endowments. The spring information session will take place Thursday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m. Space is limited, so if you plan to attend, RSVP to Cindi Stueber at cstueber@heinz.org or (412) 338-2693 by Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Many of you have asked for this capability over the years, and we think this will make the application process much easier. But please come to the information session so that you are easily able to make this transition. If you have any questions in advance or after the information session, call Justin Laing at (412) 338-2651.
There are two different applications available for the Small Arts Initiative, so make sure that you select the correct one, depending on whether you are applying as an organization or a consortium. Both applications are available on our Apply Online page.
